ENTERPRISE IRELAND SUMMARY

Enterprise Ireland has many offerings to support businesses we have highlighted some here:

Enterprise Ireland Events This link provides an overview of all the upcoming events.  Items include: Excel @ Exporting (14th of December) and Spotlight on Skills (1st December), this programme helps businesses create a company skills plan to identify and address their critical skills needs.   In addition, there is a series of webinars available on demand regarding Brexit. 

Enterprise Ireland Funding information  – this link provides a summary of all the funding supports which may be available to you.

FUNDING

Invoice Fair is administering the Covid 19 Credit Guarantee Scheme - COVID-19 Credit Guarantee Scheme - InvoiceFair.  They offer up to €1m with funds released within 24 hours of approval. 

 

Brexit Impact Loan A medium-term, lower cost scheme to fund working capital and investments for businesses, including primary producers, impacted by Brexit and Covid-19, from Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland (SBCI)

 

The Banking & Payments Federation of Ireland have issued their updated guide on 'SME Banking Supports - through COVID Recovery and Beyond'.  This document provides “important information on the range of banking supports available to SMEs now and into the future.”  See the link for a copy of the report:  BPFI Report

OTHER ITEMS 

‘The Level Project’ – This is a new initiative targeted at CEOs and managers of businesses in Ireland. The aim of The Level Project is to increase the proportion of women in senior leadership and decision-making roles in Irish companies, which is a key objective of Enterprise Ireland’s Women in Business Strategy.  The launch date is 11am on Tuesday 23rd November and registration for the event is now open at: The Level Project - Enterprise Ireland – Global Ambition.  See the link for one firms experiences:  Gender Balance in Leadership roles

 

Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment – The National Competitiveness and Productivity Council have published their bulletin on Firm Dynamism and Productivity. This bulletin discusses: the importance of firm dynamics, firm dynamics in Ireland, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on firm dynamics, as well as policy implications.  Firm Dynamism 2021

 

ISME Webinar – Managing Redundancy. This takes place on 23rd of November. Some of the topics to be covered include: Redundancy Rules, Managing different types of redundancy situations and Calculating redundancy payments. ISME Course
