We have gathered information on various supports and new developments, that we hope will be of interest to you.  We will be taking a break for the rest of August with this Wrap up but rest assured we are still here to assist you.

ENTERPRISE IRELAND SUMMARY

Enterprise Ireland’s have many offerings to support business we have highlighted some here:

 

  • Upcoming Webinar series on Exporting.  “Enterprise Ireland are presenting a series of workshops to demonstrate and promote ways to overcome the challenges of the pandemic by understanding overseas business cultures, building digital capabilities for selling and developing customer, distributor and/or partner relationships”. - Enterprise Ireland Exporter Assistance

 

FUNDING

  • SBCI Covid-19 Working Capital Scheme is offered in partnership with the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment and the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, and is supported by the InnovFin SME Guarantee Facility with the financial backing of the European Union under Horizon 2020 Financial Instruments.  See the link for detailed information on who can apply the criteria and other key information.  Covid 19 Working Capital Loan Scheme

 

 

  • The Department of Finance announced the Business Resumption Support Scheme (BRSS) which will be available from September 2021 and will offer cash to vulnerable but viable businesses.

  • Companies (Rescue Process for Small and Micro Companies) Bill 2021 – progressing through the Dáil and Seanad – watch this space for more information in due course

 

 

  • Trade and Sustainable Development Open Consultation on the European Commission’s 15-Point Action Plan on Trade and Sustainable Development.  The deadline for submissions is 31 October 2021.  European Commission Public Consultation
