Welcome to the latest edition of the WMC “Fortnightly Wrap Up” blog.

We took a break for August and now we are back.  As autumn approaches and children return to school and students head off to college you may be reflecting on where you are at with your business.  We have gathered information on various supports and new developments, that we hope will be of interest to you.

ENTERPRISE IRELAND SUMMARY

Enterprise Ireland has many offerings to support businesses we have highlighted some here:

Competitive Start Fund Newly launched and open for applications.  Closing date is 28th of September.  Check out the link for details on workshops being help to support with the application process and for more valuable information.

 Enterprise Ireland Events This link provides an overview of all the upcoming events.  Items include:  Building Innovation & Culture workshop, a Masterclass in Sales Pipeline Management (21st September) and webinars on Brexit to name but a few.  Check out the link for further information.

FUNDING

The Department of Finance announced the Business Resumption Support Scheme (BRSS) which will be available from September 2021 and will offer cash to vulnerable but viable businesses.  

 

SBCI Covid-19 Working Capital Scheme is offered in partnership with the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment and the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, and is supported by the InnovFin SME Guarantee Facility with the financial backing of the European Union under Horizon 2020 Financial Instruments.  See the link for detailed information on who can apply the criteria and other key information.  Covid 19 Working Capital Loan Scheme

 

Invoice Fair is administering the Covid 19 Credit Guarantee Scheme - COVID-19 Credit Guarantee Scheme - InvoiceFair.  They offer up to €1m with funds released within 24 hours of approval.
